CHANDER PURI

Chander Puri has over 30 years of structural engineering experience in leadership roles on national and international projects with large AEC firms - AECOM, WSP and Atkins. He has significant global experience in structural analysis, design, value engineering, peer review, renovations and inspections of a variety of buildings. 

Chander has gained experience working for MBE firms in New York. CP Engineering, LLC is an MBE/DBE firm registered with State of New Jersey and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Chander has gained experience primarily overseeing MTA C&D Capital Projects relevant to structural engineering. Chander has also gained experience with parking garage remediation in New York and Florida.

 Chander's work includes theme parks, cultural venues, commercial, residential, mixed-use, spec homes, retail and hospitality sectors. Chander has seismic design experience in moderate to severe zones.

Chander is licensed PE in the States of New Jersey, New York, California, Florida and Arizona. As a UK Chartered Engineer and Fellow of The Institution of Structural Engineers, Chander is recognized for his outstanding contributions and commitment to the structural engineering industry. 

Chander currently serves on Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) SEI Licensure Committee. He is Past Vice Chairman of The Institution of Structural Engineers and has contributed to American University of Sharjah's Civil Engineering outreach program.
